DAY 1: SINGAPORE – FRANKFURT (Meals on board)
Assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport and begin your holiday with a pleasant flight to Frankfurt.
DAY 2: FRANKFURT – LUCERNE (Breakfast on board, Dinner)
Welcome to Frankfurt. Upon arrival, drive to Lucerne city for an orientation tour of the famous Lion Monument, Chapel Bridge and the medieval old town. Then you are free at leisure to shop for fine Swiss products like chocolates and watches or you may like to take up an optional tour to the Mt. Titlis – ride on the world’s first 360 degree revolving cable car, and enjoy a snow and ice experience.
DAY 3: LUCERNE – RHINEFALLS – LAKE TITISEE – COLMAR (Breakfast / German Pork Knuckle Lunch / Dinner)
Our first stop of the day is a drive to Schaffhausen to see the Rhine Falls. After that, we cross the Germany border and drive through the Black Forest to Lake Titisee for a visit of the Cuckoo Clock Workshop. After lunch, we head east to Alsace region of France and arrive at Colmar, a city famous for its picturesque timber- framed houses and medieval buildings. Walking tour of the Old Town center includes Little Venice, Tanner’s Quarter and Fisherman’s Wharf.
DAY 4: COLMAR – STRASBOURG – BADEN BABEN – RHINELAND (Breakfast, Dinner)
This morning, we head north to Strasbourg. The orientation tour starts at Ponts Couverts in the Little France, a unique quarter that features narrow streets, the banks of the river Ill and timber-framed houses reflected in the canal. It’s one of the best conserved quarters in Old Strasbourg. See the famous Cathedral Square and the Notre Dame Cathedral. Next, we cross over the French-German border to Baden- Baden, where our orientation tours takes us to Leopoldsplatz. See Trinkhalle and Kaurhaus, the two most beautiful buildings of Baden-baden. The former has impressive Corinthian pillars and murals. The latter is elegant and houses Germany’s oldest casino. Thereafter, we continue our drive to Rhineland or Heidelberg for overnight.
DAY 5: RHINELAND – COLOGNE – AMSTERDAM (Breakfast, Dinner)
Today, we continue our journey to Cologne to see one of the most fascinating old towns in Germany, and the Gothic Cathedral. Afterwards, we continue our journey to Holland and head for Amsterdam, “Venice of the North”.
DAY 6: AMSTERDAM (Breakfast)
A refreshing day awaits you as you board the glass-domed waterbus for a Cruise along the Canals of Amsterdam. Glide gently through some of the city’s 800 bridges, and quaint historic buildings and sharp. Returning to shore, the Amsterdam orientation tour includes a drive to the Dam Square and the Royal Palace ending off with visits to a glittering Diamond cutting factory, the cheese and clog-making factory.
DAY 7: AMSTERDAM – BRUSSELS – PARIS (Breakfast, Dinner)
This morning, we head south for Brussels, the capital of Belgium. Our Brussels orientation includes the site of the 1958 World Fair, Chinese Pavilion, “Atomium”, the cheeky “Manneken-Pis” and Grand Place, one of the most beautiful and impressive squares in Europe, completely surrounded by flamboyantly decorated 17th century guild house. After lunch, we continue our journey to Paris, France’s most cosmopolitan city.
DAY 8: PARIS (Breakfast)
Your city tour sights include Arc De Triumphe, Champs Elysees Boulevard and Place de la Concorde. View Eiffel Tower and visit Notre Dame Cathedral, a most magnificent Gothic architectural achievement. After lunch, spend the day at leisure to shop, visit museums or take an optional cruise on Seine River.
Day 9: PARIS – SINGAPORE (Breakfast)
Free at leisure till your transfer to the airport for your flight back to Singapore.
Day 10: ARRIVE SINGAPORE
